The shows you should be rooting for at Sunday's Tonys

When the Tony Awards nominations were announced in April, Washington theater audiences had good reason to be disappointed. Two highly touted musicals that transitioned from the Kennedy Center to New York -- "Side Show" and "Gigi" -- garnered a grand total of just one best-of-Broadway nod. Two more shows -- the Kennedy Center's "Little Dancer" and Signature Theatre's "Diner" -- never made the long-rumored transition.
